All lessons are one-on-one. In person in Aurora, Colorado. Virtual lessons are coming soon — the ram is busy negotiating with the wifi.

Most popular

Beginner Guitar

Acoustic guitar from absolute zero. First chords, first strums, first 'oh wait, I'm playing a real song.'

  • Kids (about age 7+) and adults
  • Acoustic-first, electric welcome later
  • Real songs from week one

Beginner Piano

Friendly intro to the keyboard. Hand position, simple melodies, and chords without the panic.

  • Great for kids who can't quite hold a guitar yet
  • Great for adults who want to noodle quietly
  • Music reading at your own pace
Tiny but mighty

Ukulele

Small, friendly, and impossible not to smile while playing. The perfect starter instrument for little hands or anyone who wants quick wins.

  • Kids as young as 5 can start here
  • Four strings = less finger confusion
  • You'll play a real song in the first lesson

Songwriting

Once you've got a few chords, we make your own song. Yes, even a goofy one. Especially a goofy one.

  • Available after a few months of lessons
  • Lyrics, melody, structure — gently
  • Great confidence builder for shy players

How a lesson actually goes

  1. 1. Hello, how was your week, did you remember the chord we did last time? (No wrong answer.)
  2. 2. Warm up on something you can already do. Confidence first.
  3. 3. One small new thing. Tiny. Manageable. Often a piece of a real song.
  4. 4. Play through something fun. Maybe sing. Maybe just laugh at a wrong note.
  5. 5. A friendly homework that fits in 10 minutes a day. Not 90.

What you'll need

  • • An instrument (we can help you find a beginner-friendly one — no fancy gear required).
  • • A spot at home where you can play without feeling self-conscious.
  • • Roughly 10 minutes a day, most days. Not perfect. Just most.
  • • A willingness to make weird sounds. Critical.
