Beginner music lessons for people who thought they couldn't.

Cozy guitar and piano lessons with Jordo — a dad, songwriter, and chronic encourager. No pressure, no perfectionism, no scary conservatory vibes. Just music, snacks of confidence, and a suspiciously enthusiastic ram.

Kids welcome. Nervous adults extra welcome. The ram welcomes everyone.

Low pressure, on purpose

No grades, no scary recitals, no 'should be further along by now.' We move at your speed. Even slower if needed. The ram is patient.

Built for beginners

First instrument? First lesson ever? Returning after 20 years? Cool. We start where you are and make it feel doable in the first session.

Actual songs, actual fun

We learn songs you'd actually want to play. Theory shows up when it's useful, not as homework punishment. Songwriting when you're ready.

Who shows up here?

A pretty wholesome mix, honestly.

  • Kids picking up a first instrument (and maybe a first hobby they love)
  • Adults who said 'someday' for ten years and finally meant it
  • Nervous beginners who don't want to be told they're 'behind'
  • Parents looking for a teacher who is patient with a wiggly seven-year-old

"I literally cannot play one chord and I'm 41."

Beautiful. Perfect starting line. Bring a guitar (or borrow one — we'll figure it out) and we'll have you playing something real, slowly, with no judgment, by the end of lesson one.

Nice things people said

My 8-year-old asks if it's lesson day. Every. Day. She has never asked this about anything else.
— Parent of a very small guitarist
"
I'm 52 and I played a song at a backyard cookout. I cried. My dog was unbothered.
— Mark, started in March

Jordo makes mistakes feel like punctuation, not failure. Highly recommend.
